The newly constituted Board of Directors of the AUTF, formed at the beginning of this year, is notable for the arrival of committed directors who reflect the full diversity of the Shipper community. Its inaugural meeting, held on March 11th , was notably marked by a change in presidency.
Yves Antoine, Director Global Logistics Procurement at Arkema Group, succeeds Mourad Bensadik as Chairman of the AUTF Board of Directors.
Having taken on new responsibilities within his company, Mourad Bensadik did not seek to renew his mandate as Chairman. The members of the Board of Directors welcomed Yves Antoine’s candidacy for the succession. His longstanding commitment to the AUTF (as a member, as a Board Director, and as Chairman of the Rail Committee) ensures both continuity and momentum for the association’s ongoing and forthcoming projects.
With a career spanning more than thirty years in transport, logistics and Supply Chain Management, he has built a rare and wide-ranging expertise encompassing every link in the chain: procurement, operations, international management, customer relations and negotiation.
Trained in “total quality” management at Renault, seasoned in operational challenges and crisis management from the very start of his career at Lafarge, he confirmed his global leadership in supply chain at Rhodia, before becoming a recognised expert in transport and logistics solutions design and selling at Norbert Dentressangle and then Fret SNCF.
Now serving as Director Global Logistics Procurement for Arkema Group, he brings a comprehensive strategic vision across road, rail and maritime flows, while leading multicultural teams with rigor, clarity and a strong results-driven approach.
“Giving voice to Shippers” is the founding mission of the AUTF, as Yves Antoine emphasised upon his election.
With clear ambitions for the association, Yves Antoine intends to strengthen the AUTF’s influence in order to assert the positions of Shippers — and to that end, to consolidate the association’s standing and expertise within its ecosystem, as well as with public authorities and European institutions.
In a spirit of genuine collaboration, working alongside Board members and the association’s permanent staff, he will strive to bring together an ever broader and more diverse range of Shippers, so as to foster the sharing of best practices, while further supporting members in addressing the many challenges they face - specifically regarding the decarbonation of transport
Mobilising all stakeholders to contribute to the stability and performance of the transport and logistics sector, defending the competitiveness of businesses in an international context, and supporting an energy transition that is at once viable, pragmatic and sustainable: this is the strategic direction championed by Yves Antoine.
This new governance structure, combined with strong and committed strategic partnerships, represents a decisive asset for the association.
